LilJams (“we”, “us”) provides personalized, AI-generated birthday songs and videos. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Email support@liljams.com.

To create and deliver your order, we collect only what we need:

• Account information — your email, and (if you sign in with Google) your basic profile. Guests provide only an email for delivery.
• Order details — the birthday person’s name, age, pronouns, and the interests, memories, and notes you write.
• Photos — any images you choose to upload to be turned into a video.
• Payment information — handled by our payment processor; we never see or store your full card number.
• Usage data — basic technical logs (device/browser and actions taken) used to operate and secure the service.

We use your information to create and deliver your song or video, provide support, process revisions and refunds, send transactional emails, and to operate and secure the service. Your inputs and any photos are sent to our AI processing partners solely to generate your order. We do not use your photos, story, or other inputs to train or improve AI models, we do not use them for advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.

Realistic AI-generated footage (our Cinematic Video tier) is for adult birthdays only. To enforce this, uploaded photos are automatically screened by an AI vision service to detect whether anyone in the image appears to be a minor; ineligible photos are declined for that tier.

We share the minimum data necessary with trusted providers who process it on our behalf: AI generation and screening (Anthropic, Google Cloud / Vertex AI, ElevenLabs, and Mureka) to create your order; Stripe and PayPal for payments; Google Firebase for sign-in; Cloudflare R2 for file storage; Amazon Web Services for video rendering; and Resend for email. They may use your data only to provide these services to us, and are not permitted to use it to train their own models.

Our service is intended for adults (18+) buying a gift. Before you start, we ask for your date of birth to confirm you’re an adult; we use it only for that check and do not store it. The birthday person may be a child, but they are never the account holder — the details and photos about them are supplied by you, as the adult, and you confirm you have the right to share them.

For birthdays under 13 we only offer the products that use no photos — the Audio Song and the Sing-Along Video. Photo-based products aren’t offered for under-13s, so we never upload or store photos of a child under 13 — for them we hold only a first name, an age, and the story you write.

The service is not directed to children and we do not knowingly let a child create an account or provide us their information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email support@liljams.com and we’ll delete it promptly.

We don’t keep things longer than we need to. Your finished song or video stays in your account so you can play and download it. The photos you upload are deleted from our storage about 30 days after you order — by then they’ve done their job (they’re already part of your finished video), so we don’t hold on to the originals.

You can delete an order — and its files — yourself at any time from your account. Signed in with the email you used at checkout, you’re the owner and can remove it; guests can sign in with that same email to manage their order, or email support@liljams.com and we’ll delete it for you. We honor deletion except where we must keep limited records (for example, for tax, fraud-prevention, or legal reasons).

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; contact us to exercise them.

If you leave a review and check the box to display it, we may show your first name and review text publicly on our site. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us.

We use a small number of essential cookies to run the site — for example, to keep you signed in and remember your progress. With your consent, we also use analytics and advertising cookies (such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, and the Meta Pixel) to measure and improve our advertising. You choose whether to allow these the first time you visit, via our cookie banner, and you can change your mind at any time by clearing the choice in your browser. If you decline, we don’t set advertising cookies; essential cookies remain so the site works.

We may update this policy from time to time; the “Last updated” date reflects the current version, and we’ll post any material changes here. Contact support@liljams.com with any privacy questions.
